In a world where society tends to focus on the negative or “doom & gloom” side of life, we at Elite Force have created a campaign to shed light on the positive actions of people that occur in an effort to promote the virtues of honor and integrity, each being fundamental to the game of Airsoft. In doing so, we introduce the Elite Force Honor Patch. While small in size, the Elite Force Honor patch carries a heavy significance. Made of high quality, PVC rubber with a velcro hook backing, these limited edition patches are not for sale.
The only way to obtain one is by exhibiting extraordinary behavior that promotes honor and integrity through a selfless act for the benefit of another person or the community at large. With production being limited to 100 pieces worldwide, simply calling your hits won’t cut it. The recipients will be those who go above and beyond the normal course of action to make their community a better place. It’s more than just a patch. It’s a representation of the idea that humans can make a positive difference if they so choose and a reminder of human beings doing good things for the sake of others.
In light of recent events, we have selected Jared Powell and his team at Insane Airsoft & Paintball, of Chattanooga, Tennessee to be the first recipients of the Elite Force Honor Patch. Jared took it upon himself to host the “Nooga Strong” event on Saturday, August 1st, 2015 in an effort to benefit the families and victims of the July 16th shooting that occurred at the Armed Forces Career Center located near his retail store in Chattanooga. “I felt like I just had to do something,” Jared told us when asked why he chose to host the event. On the day of the event, all profits from field entry fees for both airsoft and paintball players, along with raffle tickets sold during the event, would be donated to the National Compassion Fund to distribute to the families of the victims from the July 16th shooting. As a result of the efforts from Jared and his team at Insane Airsoft, along with the local community who showed up to support, over three thousand dollars were raised for the victims’ families. We are very proud to present Jared with the first Elite Force Honor Patch and look forward to highlighting the efforts of others who are making a positive difference both in and out of the airsoft community.
