Heading to your first airsoft game? Awesome! Here's what you should keep in mind for a great experience:

First and Foremost:

It's All About Fun! Seriously, remember this is just a game. Everyone out there is looking to escape the everyday and have a good time for a few hours. You'll encounter all kinds of personalities, so just relax, go with the flow, and enjoy the action.

Safety is Your Top Priority!

If you've already picked up your own gear, please double-check that your eye protection is specifically designed for airsoft. Look for that ANSI Z87.1 or Z87+ rating and make sure it creates a full seal around your eyes. Your best bet for getting the right safety equipment and expert advice is to visit a local airsoft shop. Before you even step onto the field, the referees will give a safety briefing covering any specific rules for that location. Listen up – this is important!

Don't Be Afraid to Ask Questions!

If you're unsure about anything at all, just ask! You're new to this, and the staff and other players are usually super helpful and happy to point you in the right direction. There are no dumb questions when you're just starting out.

Take It Easy and Get Comfortable:

No need to rush into the thick of things right away. Take your time to get used to the game, the field layout, and even what it feels like to take a hit from a BB. As you get a little more experience under your belt, you'll naturally find your pace and your confidence will grow. Embrace the learning process – it's part of the fun!

Most Importantly:

Have a Blast Out There! You decided to try airsoft for a reason – to have a new and exciting experience. So, laugh at the funny moments, be honest about your hits, and work with your team to try and snag that win! Even if victory doesn't come your way every time, you're still making memories and having a good time.
