In most cases, yes. Many of our AEG’s feature mounting systems common in the firearms world such as picatinny rail, M-LOK, and KeyMod. Accessories such as grips, lights, lasers, scope mounts, red dots, slings, or bi-pods can be attached to many of our airsoft carbines.
The owner's manual and the product website will both have detailed information regarding the battery your airsoft gun requires. In general, look for a discharge rate of 15C and a MaH rating of 1,600 or higher. The manual or website will also confirm the connection style found on your AEG. This will either be Tamiya or Deans.
A MOSFET is a type of transistor that is used for switching or amplifying an electrical signal. MOSFET stands for Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor. In airsoft guns, the MOSFET helps regulate the power input from the battery to help make the system work more precisely and make the best of the power supplied by your battery.
AEG stands for Automatic Electric Gun. DC electricity is used to power many airsoft carbines. These batteries may have voltage as low as 6.4v or as high as 11.1v. Likewise, the milliamp hour ratings and discharge rates can vary. The two most common connection types are Tamiya and Deans. The airsoft gun product page will have the battery requirements listed in the description or features sections.
The hop-up is a device found on some airsoft guns that imparts a backspin on the round BB before it exits the barrel. This backspin helps the BB fly straight and farther before dropping. On some airsoft guns the hop-up is adjustable so the user can tune the airsoft gun to the particular weight of BB he or she is using.
